Lot 162
Price Realized: $187
Lot 162: CD 143.5 T-H.E. CO. Color: Bright Blue Description: {Large dome} 1/2" ridge chip, a couple of factory "lehr kisses" on the rear, otherwise about very near mint. Thomson-Houston Electric Company, formed in 1883, provided equipment for the first electric streetcar in Massachusetts. It was merged with Edison General Electric Company in 1892 to become the General Electric Company. The thick, blue glass highlights the intensity of the color in the dome, while milky streaks can be seen in the front skirt. A great companion for lot 161.
