Lot 194: RICHARD GINORI {Italy} Color: White Porcelain Description: Excellent condition! Ink-stamped "RICHARD GINORI" on the top of the saddle. In 1735, Carlo Ginori, the Florentine marquis, founded a porcelain factory on his estate in Doccia, near Florence, having found a local supply of kaolin, the white clay required for making porcelain.
