Lot 162: CD 267 No 4 CABLE Color: Bright Blue Description: Excellent condition! Tracks were laid out in Boston as early as 1873 for horse-drawn trolleys. The old Orange Line, which was built around 1900 and decommissioned in 1988, was part of the electrification plan. Most of the CD 267 insulators in the hobby today were used here: a mix of N.E.G.M.CO., No 4 CABLE, and unembossed units. This piece is definitely a great example of early transportation history!
