Lot 100: CD 128 HEMINGRAY // E-14B Color: White Milk Description: A little staining on the dome, a few kiss marks and a small chunk of lower skirt missing. These were experimental insulators made by Hemingray and discovered at one of the Hemingray dump sites. There was often trouble getting the milkglass specimens to anneal properly, and they are often slumped and disfigured. Pieces from the Hemingray dump usually have a lot of staining and a chalky appearance, but this example is nice and shiny! (#2448) Estimate: $400 - $500 Open: $1 Price Realized: $396 |
