Lot 172: CD 132.4 PATENT DEC. 19, 1871 Color: Dark Aqua Description: The notch and flange on these are often heavily damaged; this one just has some minor flaking on either side of the notch. The areas on the left side of the outer edge of the flange as shown in view 3 are an open bubble on the base and a second open bubble on the top of the flange. There is no chipping or flaking associated with these bubbles. Wonderful condition! These, along with the CD 317, form the Chambers lightning rod system. A nice "companion" piece to lot 171!
